Getting started

Follow this guide to get started developing your own Acuitas Marketplace Plugin and testing it in your own sandbox environment.

Sign the sales partner agreement​

Get in touch with our sales department to discuss the integration options and commercial agreement and get signed on as an Acuitas Marketplace Partner.

During this process, we will set you up on our system, provide you with access to our developer portal and provide you with an isolated sandbox environment for the development of your Acuitas Plugin.

Review all available documentation​

Review all the documentation on this portal to make sure you have a good understanding of what is available and how it works.

Use the marketplace shell application for local development​

Clone our public Acuitas Marketplace shell application repository and follow the instructions on creating web components to develop your plugin locally.

Submit your plugin for review​

After you're done developing the plugin to your satisfaction and requirements, you can submit the (non-minified and non-obfuscated) JavaScript files in the dist folder of the plugin for review. Currently, this is a manual process. We will review the plugin code, enable it in the sandbox environment and check for potential issues relating to:

  • Functionality
  • Performance
  • Security
  • Styling.

Going live​

After your plugin is validated, we will take care of deploying the provided version of the Acuitas Plugin to our production environment, enabling our various customers to install the plugin for their respective stores.
